Letter to my unborn son...

Dear son,

Be yourself. Let no one conform you into being something you weren't destined to be. The journey of life is easier when you are one with oneself.
Don't let society get to you. There will always be people who will dislike you for being you; being who you are. Always remember son... your life, not theirs.

Friends are a double-edged sword. Beware of the ones that will double cross you; suffocate the ones that truly love you. For they are the ones that are rare.
Don't let your emotions take control of you. Anger, hatred, jealousy...

Love.

Don't let your emotions get the best of you like it did to me. Be level-headed just like your Aunt.
Women are complicated. Don't waste your time trying to figure them out. They are all unique in their own way. Appreciate them for what they are and more. They are the key to mankind.
Appreciate your mother. She brought you to this world with tears of pain centrifuged with joy. She will always love you no matter what, as will I.

Marry whoever makes you happy. Find that one person who makes you feel like you're on top of the world. The one who brings joy to your heart with just a simple smile and you hers. Don't let ethnicity be a deciding factor into who you choose to marry. Love is blind
Family. Keep them ever so close. Don't grow distant towards them like your grandparents generation.

Trust is a tender entity. Be careful who you give it to and treasure the trust that is given to you.
God exists. Remember everything he does is for a reason. Maktub. Don't let it his will ever deter you from giving thanks and praises. Whenever you feel like all else has failed you; remember he stands right next to you. Always.

Whatever you become, whatever you do. Always remember that Im proud of you and me and your mother will back you 100%.

I write this to you while you're within the gates of heaven. My love for you deepens each day I gain closer to your arrival.

Everything I have done; everything I am going to do, is to make you proud of me as your father.

I will always be here for you son.

Physically, spiritually.

Lots of love,

Dad

The Visit To a White Garment Church

Decided to go to a white garment church with my father this morning...
The common misconception about white garment churches is that they are not of God.

Speaking to some of the leaders of the church... it is clear to say that the Nigerian culture is truly mixed with the Christian religion.

They were so welcoming... I honestly felt like i was at home.

The Kids loved my camera by the way...

Poverty

The Slums of Lagos truly opened my eyes to the living standard in which many of my fellow Nigerians live under...
